Vicki Gunvalson may claim to have been clueless about her ex-boyfriend Brooks Ayers' cancer lies throughout the last season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, but everyone else knew what was going on— including the show's production team!
RadarOnline.com can reveal that Bravo producers knew Ayers' stories were shady while they were filming earlier this year.
"The crew would go to film outside the hospital for an hour or so while Brooks was inside,'" a show insider told RadarOnline.com. "When he came out, he would refuse to talk about the 'treatment' he had just undergone. He couldn't answer anyone's questions."'
"Everyone knew he was lying about the whole thing. He didn't have anyone fooled!"
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, the City of Hope hospital in Duarte, California, denied ever having had a patient by the name of David Brooks Ayers after the reality star, 48, came forward with alleged medical documents from the facility.
He finally fessed up to "fabricating" documents, calling his actions "wrong and inexcusable."
Despite all the evidence stacked against him, Ayers is still insistent he has cancer.
"Who would ever question somebody with cancer?" he asked Bravo honcho Andy Cohen during his one-on-one interview Thursday night.
While on Cohen's couch, he also wrote off his biggest critic, costar Meghan Edmonds, who first questioned Ayers' diagnosis on the hit show.
"F*** off!" he said.
