Keeping Up with the Kardashians show regular and Khloe Kardashian bestie Malika Haqq has come forward with an apology after being arrested for a DUI earlier this week.
"I never imagined I would have to apologize for poor behavior and today I am thankful to be alive to say I'm sorry for my actions," the 32-year-old wrote on Twitter. "My bruises don't meet my shame. Learn from the error in my ways…Save others, Save yourself. #BeSafe."
As Radar previously reported, at 3 a.m. last Thursday, CHP received a call of a black Mercedes Benz blocking the lanes on Northbound 101 due to an accident. California Highway Patrol Officer Ibarra exclusively told Radar, "After failing a sobriety test, Haqq was arrested at 4:18 am."
She was transferred to the Los Angeles Police Department's Van Nuys division for booking.
According to a Sheriff's Department document obtained by Radar, she was bailed out of jail for $30,000 just before noon west coast time.
Malika's sister Khadijah, who also appears on KUWTK, spoke with E! News soon after the arrest.
"We all go through rough patches and this has been a difficult year for my sister," Khadijah said. "Malika understands the gravity of her actions and deeply apologizes. At this time, we will deal with this as a family."
