RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal that Angela "Big Ang" Raiola is taking swift action after discovering a massive throat tumor.

"She had a booking on April 22 and she canceled," a source close to the Mob Wives star tells RadarOnline.com. "She's going into surgery Tuesday."

Medical experts are "testing for cancer" since they are concerned that the mass could be malignant, explains the source. "Right now she is just putting stuff on hold till surgery. She really can't talk."

As RadarOnline.com reported, Big Ang, 54, is currently receiving treatment in a Staten Island hospital after she recently began feeling pain in her neck caused by a lemon-sized tumor. The mother of two was last spotted in New York on March 31, with her neck completely covered up.

Big Ang is expected to be out of the hospital next Thursday — but she's not going to be in top form immediately following her last-minute surgery.

"It's going to take three weeks to heal," the source reveals to RadarOnline.com. "Doctors said it's not a speedy recovery, but they are looking at it as serious. They don't know if it's cancer."
