There's no doubt that Kate Gosselin is one of America's least favorite TV mothers, but what does she have to say about her haters? The "monster mom" took a moment away from her big brood to reflect on Kate Plus Eight critics:

"To a degree, I try not to let it get to me," the reality star said of negative media coverage. "I ignore a lot of it because I’m busy."

A montage immediately follows, reminding audiences of Gosselin’s most monstrous moments including loud screaming fits, neglectful behavior, and other questionable disciplinary tactics.

Unfortunately, this comes as no surprise. In 2012, reports emerged alleging that Gosselin punished her children using a wooden spoon. The TV mom vehemently denies these claims, however.

Some sources say Gosselin’s ex-husband Jon even knew about her disciplinary methods and didn’t approve. One insider shared, "He knew that Kate was using that wooden spoon with the kids and hated it. There was more than one instance where he thought she used it too aggressively."

But Gosselin has a few choice words for those who like to bring her down:

"To this handful of people who decided to devote their lives to hating me: I feel bad for them," she scoffed. "I mean, what a sorry, sad life to try to take down another individual – like, do you really think you have an effect on my life? You don’t."

"You’ve never met me," the reality queen added. "You’ve seen me on TV but you don’t see the whole thing so you don’t know the whole thing."

Of course, another slew of mean-Kate moments followed her statement, subtly undermining her seemingly staunch sentiments.

Even though Gosselin has full custody of the children, a recent child-investigative report claims Jon is hoping to change that situation.

"He can’t stand by and let this go on. Enough is enough," a source said about his resolve to help his kids.
