The Bachelor star Kelsey Poe did not get Chris Soules' final rose, but she definitely left the show with a thorn in her side. A source close to production tells RadarOnline.com exclusively that Poe "insists they should pay for the emotional damage that was done to her" and she's quietly working with a psychiatrist to prep for a potential lawsuit!

"Kelsey is being treated for EMDR Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, which is an effective form of treatment that is used to alleviate the stress associated with traumatic memories," the insider tells RadarOnline.com.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Poe, whose husband Sanderson died in 2013, felt that "the network and the show producers actually twisted the plot and played off the tragic death of her beloved ex-husband in order to get ratings."

Poe, who was eventually nicknamed "The Black Widow" by fellow contestants, says she was "destroyed by the pain" of the experience and demanded that the producers pay for her therapy. If they won't pay, said the source, she'll sue.

According to the insider, "As of right now, they have not offered her payment," and so Poe is preparing the records she would need for a trial.

Reps for ABC declined to comment.
