Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick may not have a happy home these days, but they definitely have a luxurious one! Only RadarOnline.com can reveal the new pricey home improvements the reality couple is making as they feather their fractured family nest.
Kardashian and her baby daddy Disick purchased former NFL star Keyshawn Johnson’s posh Calabasas digs last year -- and six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a music room, game room and gym just aren’t enough for the notorious big spenders. They want more.
According to permits filed with the Building and Safety Division of the City of Calabasas, they’re splashing out more than $100,000 to get the backyard of their dreams.
Listed under Kardashian's Georgette Roberts Trust, the family of five is improving their massive 15,000 square foot lot to make the outside just as livable (and fancy!) as the inside with a BBQ, firepit, outdoor kitchen, (complete with dishwasher, ice maker, and sink), terrace, and a 480 square feet lattice and poolside pergolas.
Since Kardashian has been on the outs with Disick over his continued booze-filled benders, the home additions couldn’t come at a better time for some much-need distraction — as if new son, Reign Aston, born on Dec. 14, wasn’t enough of a project.
Like Kardashian and her socialite baby daddy, the former homeowner didn’t cut any cash corners when building the super-private home, which is tucked away in the exclusive Oaks gated community, from the ground up.
According to just a few of the permits filed, Johnson splashed out $14,000 for a cabana and $66,000 on a 1,119 square foot pool and nearly 100 square foot spa in 2011. He spent even more mansion moolah -- $1.5 million to be exact -- on a 1,300 square foot detached garage and 2,500 square foot patio that are bigger than most people’s apartments!
And if that wasn’t enough for the flashy couple, Johnson decked it out to the nines by dropping $30,000 on privacy walls in the motor court and the palatial pad’s 436 light fixtures, four tubs, four showers, 10 sinks, 10 toilets, two bars, and two washing machines cost a mere $150,000.
