Cynthia Bailey Clears The Air On Awkward Confrontation With NeNe Leakes, Owns Up To Her Fault In Feud

In a new Bravo blog, Cynthia Bailey turns over a new leaf concerning her fizzled friendship with NeNe Leakes, this time taking responsibility for her actions and remaining surprisingly optimistic.
During their last conversation since the reunion, the two Real Housewives of Atlanta divas had it out.
As RadarOnline.com reported, the two had a discussion on Sunday’s episode, after which Bailey cautiously told husband Peter Thomas “the wall” between them "came down.”
“I don't know what was more stale, the non-conversation that I had with NeNe or the saltines at the table,” Bailey said in a Bravo blog. “This clearly was a missed opportunity for both of us to take ownership and responsibility for any of our issues and put them to rest.”
The co-stars had been in a bitter feud ever since last season, when a brutal confrontation broke out. Known for her pointed insults, Leakes dissed her ex-bestie with a Tina Turner reference, attempting to derail Bailey as a hopeless victim of domestic abuse.

“I was actually flattered to be compared to one of the world's most popular entertainers,” Bailey admits. “Tina Turner is a legendary icon whose success, talent, strength, spirit, beauty, and class (not to mention her fabulous legs) speaks volumes and needs no introduction.
"I hope this was not a failed attempt to make fun of the fact that at one point in Ms. Turner's largely successful career and life she was a victim of domestic abuse. All jokes aside, wasn't NeNe herself a victim of domestic abuse as well?”
Despite efforts to patch up their differences, the two foes couldn’t seem to fully work things out.
Bailey confesses that the “reality of the situation” from her point of view is that their “friendship really started to break down” after her husband Peter clashed with NeNe, who called him a “b*tch.”
It appears that apologies to Thomas might be low on NeNe’s list of priorities, especially considering Leakes will be busy honing her Broadway career until January. The diva has also yet pay up the $20,000 she promised Kenya Moore for the Detroit Public Schools Foundation.
