Just months shy of the four-year anniversary of her 18-year-old son Michael Blosil’s suicide, Marie Osmond is heartbroken after hearing the news of another tragic loss in the family.
The National ENQUIRER reveals that the 55-year-old entertainer is reeling after her brother Jay Osmond’s seven-year-old granddaughter, London Mortensen, was recently killed in a tragic accident at her home in Arizona. According to the report, a moving trailer door fell and crushed the seven year old.
“When Marie heard about it, she was devastated,” a family insider said. “All those horrible memories of what happened with her son came flooding back!”
Worse, added the source, “London’s family was in the middle of a move to Utah so they could be close to the rest of the family.”
Jay announced the sad news via Twitter, posting, “Our hearts are heavy with the loss of (wife) Karen’s granddaughter. How sad it is to lose someone so sweet and so young.”
