Has reality TV sunk to a new low? The day after Teresa and Joe Giudice were sentenced to prison, Bravo cameras were rolling, and now RadarOnline.com has learned that the network is being accused of exploiting the couple's legal issues to boost sagging ratings for the Real Housewives of New Jersey.

"Early last week, all of the cast members were told they would need to film on Friday, the day after Teresa prison's sentence was handed down,” an insider told Radar. "Teresa's advisers believe that Bravo is exploiting her legal problems to boost the ratings."

"The twins, Nicole and Teresa, Jacqueline, Amber and Dina all filmed,” the source said. "Amber was very emotional and felt true compassion for Teresa, while Jacqueline only expressed empathy for the kids. There is actually no love lost between Jacqueline and Teresa."

Season 6 debuted back on July 13, only bringing in 2.1 million viewers in the key 18-49 demographic, and slipped a whopping 500,000 viewers the next week.

At the hardest moment of Joe and Teresa’s life, “It seems obvious Bravo is using her problems for a ratings boost,” the source said.

“She was made aware that all of her castmates were filming on Friday while she was being grilled by Andy Cohen for Watch Watch Happens Live,” says the source. “She has nothing to say to her co-stars. She loathes Bravo and everything they have done to use her.”

Do you think all’s fair in reality TV? Or should Bravo lay off and let Teresa deal with her issues? Let us know in the comments!
