‘Deadbeat' Dad: Renée Zellweger’s Boyfriend Owes Thousands In Child Support, Court Documents Reveal

Maybe Renée Zellweger should have stuck with Bradley Cooper.
Her current boyfriend, Doyle Bramhall II, allegedly is a deadbeat dad, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively. The Bridget Jones’ Diary star met Bramhall in the 1990s when they were students together at the University of Texas at Austin, but they reconnected in 2012.
But according to legal documents obtained by Radar, a court ordered Bramhall to pay his ex-wife, Susannah Melvoin, $4,332 per month in child support and $6,378 per month in spousal support from December 2013.
Bramhall’s marriage to the singer, who once toured with Prince, ended in 2010. They have two children together, India, 12, and Elle, 9. Zellweger’s beau also owes $28,000 toward Melvoin’s attorney fees.
But the Jerry Maguire star’s friends are warning her to chill out with Bramhall, as he has some personal issues to work out.
“Pals are telling Renée not to jump into a marriage with this guy,” a source told Radar. “He’s clearly still involved in a messy divorce, and no one wants to see her get stuck with his bills.”
