Barrett-Jackson Announces Sales Of Classic Cars That Belonged To Legendary Singers Elvis, Johnny Cash

Barrett-Jackson remains the premiere source of classic and collector automobiles, and the company, at its' Las Vegas event at the Mandalay Bay Event Center last weekend, continues its' smooth run, with sales totaling more than $33 million, including automobiles that one belonged to the late musical icons Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash.
A 1967 Cadillac Coupe De Ville Presley owned — nicknamed "The Honeymoon Cadillac,” as Elvis was seen cruising around in it with Pricilla after they wed — sold for $88,000. The lucky buyer received the original Bill of Sale, newspaper clippings if the vintage automobile and a Protect-O-Plate showing Elvis’ name and Graceland’s address.

As for Johnny Cash, a 1970 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow Long Wheel Base Saloon sold for $88,000, compete with a left hand drive, “build to order” paperwork and the initials JRC on the car’s rear doors.
More than $1.6 million of the money made in Las Vegas is earmarked for local and national charity organizations, the company announced.
Barrett-Jackson’s next big ride is headed for Scottsdale, from Jan. 10-18, 2015.
