Khloe Kardashian has suffered through two breakups and she’s now taking the pain out on her body.
To shed the pounds, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has embarked on a punishing, strict diet-and-exercise regimen.
“Food has become her enemy,” reveals the insider. “She’s constantly at the gym and eats solids only twice a week.”
The other times, continues the insider, 30-year-old Khloe’s liquid diet is more about boozing than juicing. “She barely eats, but she’s drinking almost every night. Champagne, vodka, tequila — doesn’t matter what it is, she downs it. She doesn’t seem to realize that she’s not doing her body any favors.”
Weight loss expert Alicia Hunter agrees. “Your body converts alcohol to pure sugar,” explains the author of The Accidental Diet: From Fugly to Fox. “So it’s not surprising that she’s holding on to body fat, especially around the belly, even if she’s working out and consuming very few calories from actual food.”
Warns the source, “She’s sabotaging herself and the results could be really bad.”
