More Trouble Ahead? Amanda Bynes’ Father Said No To Continuing Conservatorship; ‘They Have Always Had A Tense Relationship,’ Source Claims

Amanda Bynes’ strained relationship with her father Rick was the big factor in her mother Lynn's decision not to seek extended conservatorship of her troubled daughter, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
“Her dad just doesn't think a conservatorship is needed, despite the fact that Amanda had done so very well when it first began,” a source told RadarOnline.com.
And sadly, trouble from the past between Rick and the former child-star-turned-train-wreck is to blame, the source said.
The father-daughter duo "have always had a very tense relationship....Rick and Amanda are polar opposites and have never had a close relationship. Amanda is much closer to her mother, Lynn.”
The source noted, “It really appeared that Amanda was finally headed in the right direction but the decision to not renew the conservatorship was largely influenced by Rick."
As RadarOnline.com has reported, after the conservatorship lapsed, Bynes moved out of her parents’ Thousand Oaks home into her own apartment, a source said, and ” It was only a matter of time until Amanda got arrested for driving under the influence.”

After Amanda's latest arrest for yet another DUI on Sunday morning, her dad confessed he hadn't spoken to his daughter in over three months.
“I’ve been getting calls all day long; that’s all I know — you can believe me or not, I’m telling the truth,” Rick told X17 about how he has fallen out of touch with his famously troubled daughter.
Rick Bynes stressed that the conservatorship Lynn had in the wake of the What I Like About You star’s public meltdown during the summer of 2013 has expired, and that they have no current legal authority over their daughter.
