Gone Too Soon: G.R.L. Singer Simone Battle Dies In Reported Suicide

G.R.L. star Simone Battle has died, RadarOnline.com can reveal.
The 25-year-old singer was found dead in her West Hollywood home on Friday morning in what reportedly appears to be a suicide.
"We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Simone Battle of G.R.L.' reads a joint statement from Reign Deer Entertainment, Kemosabe Records, RCA Records and the group's founder.
, Pussycat Dolls' mastermind Robin Antin. "Simone was an exceptional young talent and human being, and we are all devastated to learn of her passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones at this time."
The California native, who was a finalist on U.S. X Factor in 2011, was just rising to fame: The girl group's debut single, "Ugly Heart," topped international charts after its June release.
The beauty was more than just a pretty face. She recently told Rolling Stone that she studied at the University of Southern California.
"I'm really good at school," she said. "I'm good at writing papers."
Less than a month ago, Battle tweeted about her band's success.
"Just landed in Sydney, Australia!!!! 'Ugly Heart' is playing on the radio!" she posted. "Life is but a dream!!!"
