The Wedding Is Back On! Expectant ‘Teen Mom’ Stars Catelynn Lowell & Tyler Baltierra Reportedly Reschedule Canceled Ceremony For Spring 2015
Teen Mom favorites Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Balteirra are not only expecting a baby— they’re planning a wedding!
Lowell, who announced her pregnancy with a tweeted baby bump photo on August 6, and her middle school sweetheart had planned to wed on July 13, 2013, but called off the ceremony amid discussions on VH1 reality show Couples Therapy that they just weren’t ready to walk down the aisle.
According to InTouch, the 22-year-old Michigan natives are now expecting to tie the knot early next year.
“They’ve rescheduled the wedding for next spring, after the baby comes,” an insider told the magazine.
The rock-solid pair also allegedly discussed their previously canceled ceremony during an August 8 taping of an upcoming Couples Therapy reunion show.
“They said they’d been pressured by producers and their managers . . . to get married on TV,” the insider explains.
For now, the couple is focusing on their impending arrival.

“This time, we’re ready to be parents,” Lowell assured InTouch. “We’re 22, have full-time jobs, a four-bedroom house and a sold relationship. There’s no doubt in our minds that it will still be hard— but we’re ready.”
The MTV reality stars previously welcomed baby Carly in May 2009, but the then-teenagers gave their daughter up for adoption.
“I was so sad knowing that I wouldn’t be Carly’s mom on a day-to-day basis,” the mom-to-be said. "But I’m excited to be pregnant now and to go pick out baby clothes and do everything I couldn’t do last time!”
Fans will reportedly be able to watch the couple tackle parenthood on an upcoming encore season of Teen Mom.
