Angelina Jolie isn’t always edgy! The actress opted to go the traditional route for her August 23 wedding to Brad Pitt. According to E! News, the bride wore a white floor-length gown made of antique lace and silk that was “very traditional, but very Angie."

The Jolie-Pitt clan—Maddox, 13, Pax, 11, Zahara, 9, Shiloh, 8, and 6-year-old twins, Knox and Vivienne—helped their mom down the aisle in a small chapel at Chateau Miraval, their property in the South of France.

Once in front of a small group of family and friends, Pitt lifted his bride’s veil. “He gasped because she looked so stunning,” gushes the insider.

The happy couple then exchanged rings specially designed by their jeweler pal, Robert Procop. The insider also reveals Angelina sported another special bauble that day—a “small gold locket that contained a photo of her mom,” Marcheline Bertrand, who passed away from ovarian cancer in 2007 at age 56.
