Kim Kardashian is one protective mama bear.

One week before her big Parisian and Italian wedding weekend, the reality star, 33, and sister Khloe, 29, refused to mingle with Fashion Police host Joan Rivers during the NBC Upfronts on May 15 in New York.

"Kim and Khloe both don't want drama and can't fake it anymore with Joan,” the source continues, “so they asked the staff to keep them separate."

It’s safe to say Rivers did not receive an invite to Kardashian’s exclusive May 24 nuptials.
