Teen Mom 2 fans can rest assured — though insiders previously told RadarOnline.com that producers had planned to end the MTV hit series after five seasons -- Jenelle Evans, Kailyn Lowry, Leah Messer and Chelsea Houska are now on board for a sixth round.

“Producers saw that ratings were so high,” a source explained. “And now there’s a whole new crop of drama: Jenelle’s pregnant, and Leah and Jeremy are talking divorce. It would be foolish to stop filming now.”

Evans is expecting her first child with boyfriend Nathan Griffith, a boy to be named Kaiser, in late June. (Son Jace, 4, lives with Evans’ mother Barbara.) Mother-of-three Messer recently admitted to “struggles” in her marriage to husband of two years, Jeremy Calvert.

Season six will premiere after MTV airs the additional season five episodes later this year, the insider added.

The first half of season five is airing now on MTV.
