'Teen Mom 2’ Cancelled: Cast Members Jenelle Evans, Leah Messer, Chelsea Houska & Kailyn Lowry Told Season 5 Will Be The Last

Teen Mom fans will be shocked to learn that Teen Mom 2 will be coming to an abrupt end after season 5, RadarOnline.com has learned.
"There is no season 6 of Teen Mom 2," a production source revealed. "Season 5 is the girls’ last season."
Why is the hit series — starring Jenelle Evans, Kailyn Lowry, Leah Messer, and Chelsea Houska — ending it’s run?
"They want to end Teen Mom 2 with high ratings," the insider said.
But fear not, Teen Mom 2 will be going out in style with additional episodes being added to the current season 5, we’re told.
"They are extending season 5,” the source said. “But no more after that."
A second source said, "Though it is not season six, per se, it's pretty much another season. The girls already filmed a reunion for 'season 5' but this season is technically 'season 5b.'"
