After finishing two secret stints in rehab, Zac Efron is serious about the path to sobriety — so much so, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned, the hunky actor had his sober coach glued to his hip on Sunday night at the Oscars!
Reaching a milestone six-months sobriety in December, Efron, 26, played it safe during his appearance as a presenter at the Academy Awards at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, avoiding the after-parties.
"Zac had a sober coach with him the entire time he was at Dolby to monitor what he was doing and to make sure he didn't partake in any substances like drugs or alcohol," the source told RadarOnline.com.
"The coach was there to escort him to the bathroom or backstage, anywhere he needed to be where temptation might arise."
Efron wasn't photographed at any of the after-parties and sources tell RadarOnline.com he opted for a sober night in.
According to previous reports, before rehab Efron had struggled drinking too much and abusing the the powerful painkiller, Oxycodone.
