Oral Arguments: Farrah Abraham Slams Critical Teen Mom Co-Stars -- 'I'm Blowin' Them Away’

Amber Portwood, Maci Bookout and Catelynn Lowell may not want to film a reunion Teen Mom show with their former costar Farrah Abraham because of Abraham's porn star career and line of sex toys, but the XXX star isn't taking this one lying down.
The mother-of-one, who dropped a new single called "BLOWIN" earlier this week, told RadarOnline.com that she isn't taking her costars' hate anymore.
"Personally, I'm BLOWIN' them away," she said.
In fact, it's supposed haters like her former costars that made Abraham decide to make more music, she said.
"I felt compassionate about getting the negativity out of my own life,” the reality starlet said. "And something about being a mother to my daughter helped me make further progress to make my own life and not taking in the negativity of others who do not know me.
Abraham thought that her new single spoke to that idea.
"The single was therapeutic in that sense," she said. "The song 'BLOWIN' means overcoming bullies, negativity and knowing I am perfect the way I am. That's what makes anyone special by being bolder then negativity around us in our everyday hustles of life."
In the video for the new single, Abraham even included screengrabs of nasty tweets that haters had sent her way in the past to show that she could overcome the bullying.
"There are many cyber bullies are out there and we all have them," she said. "'BLOWIN' shows how to overcome the negativity as there are always others who are supportive out there to outweigh the bad comments."
Abraham also decided to include her daughter Sophia in the video because she thought her song had a positive message for her daughter.
"I was happy my daughter wanted to be in the last scene of the day," she said. "I make my music so Sophia has fun with upbeat music that has meaning."
But when it came to actually shooting the video, Sophia was more interested in exploring and being a social butterfly than actually working.

"Sophia was more about looking around at the hillside that we were on and talking to the video crew," Abraham said. "But she did tell me she had fun with me — and now that Sophia has seen herself in the video, she 'loves it' and asks to watch it a lot."

Overall, the single held a special place to Abraham because she came up with the lyrics all on her own.
"I actually took on the lyrical writing myself," she said. "My audio engineer in Denmark where the rest of my family lives helped me with the beat and mixing. Then some great producers and editors in Austin, Texas where I now live helped to make the video."
And Abraham insisted she sang every lyric without getting auto tuned.
"No auto tuning for me," she said. "Personally, I sing how I sing and keep it that way because one day I might have to perform this live, so it's about keeping it authentic."
But the song did have some audio help.
"There were some audio effects added," she admitted. "Many you hear in all of our other favorite artists' new tracks. There were some reverbs and other cool audio edits and filters we used."
So with it all said and done, will Abraham be releasing any more singles in the coming months?
"If I feel passionate and start humming some great lyrics and visualize another great beat, then another single will be underway," she said. "But I am in no rush."
"Music means a lot to me," she concluded. "It helps me be in the mood I want to be daily, moment by moment. I recall some of the best times in my life because of music and for that, I never want to see music go away."
