Bad Boss: Uma Thurman Slapped With $72K Fine For Putting Her Employees At Risk

Uma Thurman is a great actress, but is she a horrible boss?
RadarOnline.com has learned that the actress was recently slapped with a $72,000 fine for failing to adequately provide for her employees.
The Workmen's Compensation Board of the State of New York issued the fine in March 2013 after Thurman was found to have failed to carry workers compensation insurance from December 15, 2011, to December 14, 2012.

A judge ruled that she must pay up, and also get acquire workmen's comp insurance that was in line with NY State laws.
The news is especially surprising since Thurman has seemed close to her employees in the past.
In 2008, her housekeeper Dorota Janas took the stand to testify for her in a trial to convict her stalker. Samara Koffier, Thurman's former personal assistant, also testified in the case.
