It’s a girl! After struggling through a difficult pregnancy fraught with multiple visits to the hospital, Teen Mom Mackenzie Douthit finally gave birth to her daughter on Friday and RadarOnline.com has exclusive details about the frighteningly early birth.
“Mackenzie had a C-section and the doctors did it three weeks early because they were worried about her health and the health of the baby,” a source close to the MTV star told Radar.

The 19-year-old has Type 1 Diabetes and her blood sugar levels were dangerously falling throughout her pregnancy, so the doctors decided to deliver the baby at 37 weeks.
This is Mackenzie’s second child with husband Josh McKee.
“Mackenzie is so happy with her baby girl,” the source said.
