It Pays To Be Team Miley! Mom Tish Gets A New Gig — Working For Daughter — While Dad's Book Sales Tank!

As Miley Cyrus' parents Tish and Billy Ray proceed with their divorce, it's been clear she's sided with her mom.

For Tish, it's just as obvious that there are a lot of benefits that come with being in that position: She just landed a new working for her daughter. At the same time, Miley's estranged dad Billy Ray is having a tough time — with his book sales tanking.

Thursday morning, Amazon.com slashed the price of his memoir, Hillybilly Heart, to just $1.99. According to sales figures from Nielsen BookScan obtained by RadarOnline.com, the memoir sold just 40 copies in the entire U.S. last week -- and just 50 the week before. All told, he's sold just over 2,000 since the book was released in late April.

Billy Ray's last album peaked at 38 on the Billboard country charts late last year and was subsequently released at Old Country Buffets as an attempt at promotion.

Tish, meanwhile, is sitting pretty with Miley's support. Her daughter has even added her to the payroll, signing her up to work on her summer tour, a source told Naughty But Nice Rob. "She's paying her mom, Tish, just to hang out," the source confirmed.

By all appearances, Miley and Billy Ray have stopped speaking in recent weeks. On June 13, she tweeted to her dad, "Since your texts and emails obviously aren't working, would you like to talk like this?"

And on Monday June 24, she posted a cryptic message that seemed to accuse her dad of having an affair with his "Chicago" co-star, stunning redhead Dylis Croman: "@billyraycyrus since you won't reply to met exits I'm giving you an hour to tell the truth or I'll tell it for you."
