Shakira Passes On Big Payday For Baby Pic, Encourages Fans To Donate To Charity

New parents Shakira and Gerard Pique passed on a big payday for the first shots of their week-old baby son Milan Piqué Mebarak, sharing the coveted image for free online, with requests for fans to donate to the charity UNICEF.
The sexy South American songstress and her FC Barcelona hubby posted an image of father and baby on WhoSay, writing, "We hope that, in his name, other less privileged children in the world can have their basic needs covered through gifts and donations.
"Thank you for sharing this unforgettable moment with us."
Shakira became "very emotional" and began crying when she gave birth to the 6-pound, 6-ounce baby January 22.
The 35-year-old Hips Don't Lie singer is Colombia's highest-selling music artist ever, with more than 50 million albums sold worldwide. In March, she’ll join the panel of NBC’s talent competition show, The Voice, along with Usher.
