Crystal Harris tied the knot with Playboy founder Hugh Hefner on New Year's Eve, in a stunning pink wedding dress and now she’s planning to put the gorgeous gown to good use once again, this time by auctioning it for charity .
The intimate nuptials at the Playboy Mansion were a dream come true for Crystal, but the newlyweds' happiness has already been dampened, by the sad news of Hef's long-time assistant Mary O’Connor's death — so in a bid to Mary's memory, the beautiful blonde is selling her fabulous frock, along with her wedding shoes, and donating the proceeds to charity in Mary's name.
The floor-length mermaid-style Romona Keveza gown and the shoes are valued at $7,500.00, and are listed for sale on Charitybuzz.com.
And, it seems folks are more than willing to shell out the big bucks to get their hands on a piece of Crystal! There are already three bids, with the highest currently at $1,350.
“Mary was Hugh Hefner's longtime assistant of 40 years, and is credited with helping Crystal reconcile with Hef last year, ultimately leading to their recent wedding,” the listing caption reads.
