Tyler Perry has sold his lavish Los Angeles home.

The funny man seems to have bucked the economic trend by selling his four-bedroom, six-bathroom home for $11.25 million after buying it for $9.6 million in 2006.

The Hollywood Hills West home is a sprawling 9,725 square feet and includes a gym, a sauna and a nightclub/lounge with a bar and a disco ball.

Sitting on a third of an acre, the property makes dramatic use of its features. The glass-floor catwalk is also the ceiling of the wine cellar. Meanwhile the window in the billiards room looks into the swimming pool.

The man who amassed his estimated $400 million fortune by dressing up as an elderly woman also had spectacular views of the city lights and the mountains – something he may have been able to do from any one of his four fireplaces.

Perry also has property in Atlanta.
