Josh Brolin Smiles At Gangster Squad Premiere, Days After Drunken Arrest

The last time we saw hunky actor Josh Brolin posing for a photograph, he was stone-faced in a mug shot, following his arrest for public intoxication on New Year’s Eve.
However, on Monday night, the Oscar nominated actor, 44, appeared in good spirits at the Los Angeles premiere of his gritty new 1940’s mob drama, Gangster Squad, and RadarOnline.com has pics from the red carpet.
Brolin -- looking dapper in a brown suit -- flashed a grin as he posed with his casually dressed co-star, Sean Penn, 52, on the carpet at Grauman's Chinese Theater in Hollywood.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Brolin -- the son of actor James Brolin and stepson of Barbara Streisand -- was arrested for public intoxication by the Santa Monica Police Department just before midnight on January 1.
Brolin paid the $250 bail and was not given a citation for the arrest, so there will be no further ramifications.
This is not Brolin’s first brush with the law -- he was arrested for a drunken brawl in a Shreveport, Louisiana bar in July 2008, and in December 2004, just four months after he married actress Diane Lane, Brolin was arrested on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge when Lane called 911 during a fight that got physical. She did not press charges and called the episode a “misunderstanding.”

Meanwhile, several of Brolin’s cast mates in the film also attended Monday’s Gangster Squad premiere, including Emma Stone -- who looked ravishing in red -- and Ryan Gosling, who brought his mom, Donna, as his date.
Gangster Squad -- rated “R” for extreme violence -- hits theaters in the U.S. on Friday, January 11.
