Music’s hottest stars hit the red carpet of the 2012 American Music Awards at the Nokia Theatre LA Live on Sunday, where they were glammed up and ready for the flashbulbs – and RadarOnline.com has all the photos.

This year the AMAs are celebrating their 40th anniversary, and all of the hottest music acts are expected to attend with performances from Christina Aguilera, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood.

Justin Bieber is scheduled to take the stage with Nicki Minaj, and as RadarOnline.com reported over the weekend, his on-again-off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez is not expected to be gazing adoringly at the pop star as she did at last years show after their big blowout Friday night.
