“He is fighting hard,” Michelle said about Grayson, the son of The Real Housewives of Orange County star who was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor in 2005 and has been bravely dealing with his dire medical condition since then.
“Grayson is a good little solider,” his mom told RadarOnline.com, while adding he has been in the hospital for the past three days at Sloan Kettering in New York.
Gretchen Rossi’s boyfriend Slade has been locked in a legal battle with Michelle for years over his non-payment of child support for years, claiming that he doesn’t earn enough income to contribute to the mounting medical bills for his 12-year-old son.
The Talbert Family Foundation has set up a website to help raise money for Grayson and have pledged that 100 per cent of the proceeds will be donated “to help defray some of the catastrophic costs associated with his cancer.”
Michelle said she is grateful to the foundation for helping with the funds. “The Amazing Gray Fund is so thankful that the Talbert Family Foundation is helping us out. This is a great resource for people with a medical crisis.”
She wouldn’t comment on her dispute with Slade over Grayson’s medical bills, saying: “That is the least of anyone’s concerns.”
Michelle said that she is hopeful that Grayson’s treatment will be successful, and she admires his strength.
“Grayson is a warrior,” his mom said.
