The Cougar Town star, whose impressive Malibu mansion was featured in Elle Décor last year, has joined forces with luxury home furnishing website Joss & Main and the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation to launch their Curate for a Cause program, putting together her own collection of organic modern furniture and housewares, and RadarOnline.com has the details.
“Collaborating on Curate for a Cause for EB was a great way to show my support for a cause that is so important to me,” Courteney explained about her decision to join the charitably chic venture with the foundation dedicated to finding a cure andraising awareness about kids with the life-threatening skin disorder.
The online event, which kicked off on Tuesday and will continue through the month, features everything from Missoni floor pillows (“fun for a splash of color”) and luxe lighting fixtures to a Herman Miller Eames Lounge and Ottoman, and after less than 24 hours several of the items are already sold out.
Courteney also revealed a few fun facts to Joss & Main about her personal “organic modern” home style: her favorite room is the living room, neutrals like gray, beige, white and black are the colors most prevalent in her home, she uses floral arrangements and books to decorate her home, she loves stripes, and her ideal place to live is the beach, of course!
Other celebrity curators will include Orlando Bloom, Camila Alves and Zoe Saldana.
