Katie And Suri Make A Cupcake Run!

Katie Holmes is known for her love of cupcakes, and during her visit home last weekend she introducedSuri to one of her favorite spots in the Midwest, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.

On Saturday, Katie, her mother and Suri took a road trip from Toledo to Plymouth, Michigan where Holmes' sister Nancy lives. Conveniently, The Cupcake Station — a small regional chain — has a location in Plymouth, and Katie couldn't resist.

"They're especially known for their kids' cupcakes, and Suri got to pick out her own," an eyewitness tells us.  "She went with a red velvet one with white chocolate cream cheese frosting.

Katie, who keeps the calories off with running and dancing, didn't go without one of the tasty treats.

"She had a caramel chocolate bar variety," the eyewitness says.

Five years ago, when the soon-to-be-ex Mrs. Tom Cruise filmed Mad Money in Shreveport, Louisiana, she had cupcakes sent to the cast and crew on a regular basis, and that's a habit she's continued on several film sets.

As RadarOnline.com reported, Katie took Suri to Toledo to meet all of her cousins, many of whom had onlyever seen her before in magazine pictures.
