Jenelle Evans has been granted a one year restraining order against her ex-fiance Gary Head, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
The troubled MTV Teen Mom star was arrested along with Gary on June 24, 2012 following a fight so brutal that a source close to her told RadarOnline.com that he “beat the sh*t out of her” and tried to strangle her with a bed sheet; Jenelle is so terrified of him now that she sought the restraining order and was relieved when the judge granted it to her.
“Jenelle is afraid of Gary," a source tells RadarOnline.com. "She was viciously attacked by him and she is really frightened that he is going to come after her again, that’s why she got the restraining order.”
The source told RadarOnline.com that the restraining order forbids Gary from having any contact with Jenelle in person, via the phone, online or through a third party.
“She doesn’t ever want to talk to Gary again, she just hopes that he obeys the law and stays away from her," the source says. "She knows that the restraining order is just a piece of paper but she feels safer knowing that he can’t and shouldn’t come near her.”
Jenelle is heading to court Monday to appear in front of the judge about the arrest. Check back with RadarOnline.com for details about her ongoing legal battles.
