Multi-Millionaire Ben Stein Advises Britney Spears & J.Lo: 'Money Won't Make You Happy!'

Ben Stein doesn't think Britney Spears or Jennifer Lopez are worth the tens of millions they make, and in an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com says, "Happiness is an inside job!"
"My take is that it's an awfully good business being a very famous celebrity. It's an awfully good business having a monopoly on being Jennifer Lopez or being Britney Spears," Ben said.
"It's an awfully bad business being an ordinary American working man or woman in today's America. I would say it's worth doing almost anything to try to become really, really famous, except make a sex tape of yourself."
Ben, who infamously starred as the economics teacher in Ferris Bueller's Day Off, slammed the money that Britney and J.Lo make for being on talent shows like American Idol and The X Factor.
"A high-level pay in this country is completely insanely out of sync with reality, but if you can get it, more power to you," he said.
"I doubt if either of those women will wind up being happy because of how much money they make. Happiness is an inside job."
Ben, 67, says he doesn't watch reality or talent shows, but admires Simon Cowell for his business prowess.
"I think he's a very, very smart guy. A very, very, very smart guy," he said.
"Super smart guy, much smarter than I am."
It's sage advice indeed from Stein who has an estimated net worth of $20 million!
Stein, a lawyer, first rose to fame writing speeches for Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford, but has since become a popular comedian, actor, and political commentator.
Stein received an Emmy for his work as host of Win Ben Stein’s Money, a game show on Comedy Central.
