Happy Birthday George Clooney!
To celebrate 51 years of one of our most popular-ever leading men, RadarOnline.com is looking back at Clooney's Hollywood highlights
He was already a sitcom staple with a decade worth of credits when he switched to drama and set hearts racing in 1994 as hunky Dr. Doug Ross on ER and his five year stint led to a whole lot more than being a TV hunk.
With an Oscar under his belt for movie thriller Syriana and three other Academy Award nominations for best actor, George has become one of the most critically acclaimed stars.
His good looks and cheeky charisma have also made him a hit with the ladies , having dated a string of beautiful women including Lisa Snowdon, Elisabetta Canalis and most recently former Dancing with the Stars contestant Stacy Keibler.
But his popularity doesn't just stem from his acting and his love life, he's also dedicated to a good cause.
George is an advocate for the resolution of the Darfur conflict and in March 2012 he was arrested outside the Sudanese Embassy for civil disobedience during a protest.

He's also starch supporter of President Barack Obama and is even holding a star-studded fundraiser on May 10 at his Studio City home.
As RadarOnline.com reported, the event is set to rake in a whopping $12 million which would making it the biggest U.S presidential campaign fundraiser in history.
