Anna Nicole Smith’s Daughter DannieLynn Blossoms After Her Tragic Early Childhood

Anna Nicole Smith’s daughter is growing up fast!

With her angelic smile, pretty blonde curls and sparkling green eyes, Dannielynn Birkhead is the spitting image of her late mother, and RadarOnline.com has photos of the adorable five-year-old and her doting dad.

Dressed in a white and yellow floral dress with a fancy hat adorned with roses and lace, the little girl was a constant fixture beside father Larry Birkhead’s side when the pair attended the Kentucky Derby in Louisville on Saturday.

Dannielynn was just five-months-old when her mother died at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida in February 2007, and while she never got to see her grow up, we are sure the former Playmate of the Year would be proud of her little mini-me.

Despite the trauma of her infant years - which included her big brother, Daniel, dying just just days after her birth, and a heated paternity battle involving Anna Nicole’s personal attorney Howard K. Stern - Dannielynn has blossomed into a beautiful, happy little girl.

Birkhead has done his best to keep his daughter out of the spotlight since she was a toddler and away from the fast-paced lifestyle that was the downfall of her mom.

Instead of living in Hollywood, the pair returned to his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, where the pretty princess has clearly inherited her daddy’s love of horses.

Dannielynn spent Derby Day tightly holding on to Larry’s hand or curled up in his arms as they deftly maneuvered through the crowds of celebrities in the exclusive Turf Club at Churchill Downs.
