The three new cast members of the Real Housewives of New York City are ready for their time in the spotlight, and RadarOnline.com has a sneak peak of the women who are going to take on Manhattan.
Aviva Drescher, Carole Radziwill and Heather Thomson make their onscreen debut in the upcoming season five premiere, where they prove they are just as brash and brazen as their predecessors, Cindy Barshop, Alex McCord, Jill Zarin and Kelly Bensimon, who were all unceremoniously fired last year.
In a sneak peak of the show, the women take on the city that never sleeps, as Drescher shops for shoes despite losing her left leg in a tragic farming accident when she was six years old.
“I can wear open toed shoes,” she explained, while revealing that she has “fake toes,” much to the shock of her new reality cast mates. Married to an investment banker with four children, Aviva is cousins with The Nanny star Fran Drescher.
Radziwell has an even more high profile lineage, as the Glamour magazine contributor is the widow of the late Prince Anthony Radziwill, the only son of Lee Radziwill, younger sister to the late Jackie Kennedy Onassis.
Last but not least, Heather is the creator of Yummie by Heather Thomson, a successful line of shape wear, and has worked as a designer and stylist with Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé and Tina Knowles and Sean “Diddy” Combs.
As the newcomers meet surviving cast members Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer, salacious sound bites from the preview clip include girls’ talks over boozy lunches about drunken nights out, having babies, younger men, and even sex toys!
Looking more like the cast of the Jersey Shore than Manhattan socialites, during one party the women all jump fully dressed into a pool and one whips her top off in the water and kisses her gal pal, all the while keeping a strong grip on her martini.
Throw in shots, table dancing, cat fights, and yet more white wine, the new women will no doubt make very interesting additions to the RHONYC cast.
The premiere episode of season five airs on Bravo on Monday, June 4 at 9 p.m.
