Melissa Gilbert Suffered Mild Concussion And Whiplash On DWTS, Tweets ‘I’m Alright’

Actress Melissa Gilbert tweeted she's alright early Tuesday after she suffered an injury on Dancing with the Stars Monday that cut her night short, with a trip to the hospital.
"I'm alright. Mild concussion and whiplash," the Little House on the Prairie star wrote. "Very soon I will be safely home resting and being taken care of."
Gilbert subsequently tweeted to her pro partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, "You are my champion. I adore you."
She also told her fellow competitor Gavin DeGraw, "Bless your heart for carrying me down those stairs!"
Gilbert, 47, danced the paso doble with partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy to Conquest by the White Stripes on Monday, getting 22 points on the night (seven points each from Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli and eight from Len Goodman).
