Michelle Williams, Jonah Hill & Melissa McCarthy Among SAG Nominees

In a foreshadowing of who could be up for Oscar gold, Michelle Williams, Jonah Hill, Melissa McCarthy were among the nominees as the 18th annual Screen Actors Guild awards were announced Wednesday morning in West Hollywood, and RadarOnline.com has all the details for you.
The nominees in the film categories were:
Outstanding Performance By A Male Actor In A Leading Role -- Demián Bichir for A Better Life; George Clooney for The Descendants; Leonardo Dicaprio for J. Edgar; Jean Dujardin for The Artist; and Brad Pitt for Moneyball.
Outstanding Performance By A Female Actor In A Leading Role -- Glenn Close for Albert Nobbs; Viola Davis for The Help; Meryl Streep for The Iron Lady; Tilda Swinton for We Need To Talk About Kevin; and Williams for My Week With Marilyn.
Outstanding Performance By A Male Actor In A Supporting Role -- Hill for Moneyball; Kenneth Branagh for My Week With Marilyn; Armie Hammer for J. Edgar; Nick Nolte for Warrior; and Christopher Plummer for Beginners.
Outstanding Performance By A Female Actor In A Supporting Role -- Bérénice Bejo for The Artist; Jessica Chastain for The Help; McCarthy for Bridesmaids; Janet Mcteer for Albert Nobbs; and Octavia Spencer for The Help.
Notable nominees in the TV categories included:
Outstanding Performance By A Male Actor In A Drama Series nominees -- Patrick J. Adams for Suits; Steve Buscemi for Boardwalk Empire; Kyle Chandler for Friday Night Lights; Bryan Cranston for Breaking Bad; and Michael C. Hall for Dexter.
Outstanding Performance By A Female Actor In A Drama Series -- Kathy Bates for Harry’s Law; Glenn Close for Damages; Jessica Lange for American Horror Story; Julianna Margulies for The Good Wife; and Kyra Sedgwick for The Closer.
Outstanding Performance By A Male Actor In A Comedy Series -- Alec Baldwin for 30 Rock; Ty Burrell for Modern Family; Steve Carell for The Office; Jon Cryer for Two And A Half Men; and Eric Stonestreet for Modern Family.
Outstanding Performance By A Female Actor In A Comedy Series -- Julie Bowen for Modern Family; Edie Falco for Nurse Jackie; Tina Fey for 30 Rock; Sofia Vergara for Modern Family; and Betty White for Hot In Cleveland.
The Descendants star Judy Greer and Southland's Regina King made the announcements.
Last year's big winners at the SAG Awards were actor Colin Firth and The King's Speech, which went on to win the Oscar for best picture.

The show is slated for January 29 at the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center, and will be broadcast on TNT and TBS at 8 pm ET /5 pm PT.
