UPDATE: Despite multiple reports and source confirmation, Kim Richards has not left her rehab facility yet. Our source says that Kim is eager to leave and continue outpatient treatment but has been persuaded otherwise, for now.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kim Richards has checked out of her inpatient rehab treatment center after seeking help for her substance abuse issues.
The 47-year-old sought help for her multiple addictions, after a Thanksgiving that had her family very concerned about her health, but as RadarOnline.com exclusively reported it was at the insistence of Bravo executives that she get immediate help.
"On Thanksgiving Kim was stumbling and stuttering. It's her normal," a source close to the reality star exclusively told RadarOnline.com.
"She definitely abuses alcohol," the source said. Kim has admitted on the show to taking a cocktail of prescription pills, including Lexapro, Trazadone and Topamax.
Kim plans to continue her treatment with outpatient therapy, and according to our source she is currently with her sister, and co-star, Kyle Richards in Los Angeles.
“The pressures the women face being on the show are enormous,” the source told RadarOnline.com. “Kim was basically told that if she wanted to stay on the show then she had to get help, so she did. Kim doesn’t have any other significant source of income and she needs to keep her job on the show.”

The source said the decision for Kim to get help was a relief to those close to her. “It was a strong move for Kim to go ahead and take control of the situation and get help for herself. Everyone is really proud of her.”
And now?
“Kim is going to be focusing on staying healthy and happy and just wants to spend time with her family,” the source says. “It really is one step at a time.”
