Dancing with the Stars champ J.R. Martinez was among the celebrity presenters at Sunday night's CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, an event earmarked to honor everyday people whose actions help brighten the lives of others.
Other famous faces at the event, which was hosted by Anderson Cooper, included Piers Morgan, model Christy Turlington Burns, Glee star Chris Colfer, Modern Family beauty Sofia Vergara and The X Factor's Rachel Crow.
Musical performances on the night included Miley Cyrus, who sang "The Climb," and Kid Rock, who belted out the song, "Care."
The 2011 CNN Hero of the Year was Robin “Mother Robin” Lim, an American woman who offers free prenatal care, birthing services and medical aid to Indonesian women who cannot afford such services.
"Every baby's first breath on Earth could be one of peace and love," Lim said in receiving the honors. "Every mother should be healthy and strong. Every birth could be safe and loving. But our world is not there yet."
