Newlyweds Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are spending their quickie honeymoon in romantic Capri, Italy RadarOnline.com has learned.
The socialite and her new husband left Los Angeles' LAX airport on Monday for the European destination Monday following their nuptials in California on Saturday.
However, the couple will be back in the states by the weekend, as Kim is presenting at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles this Sunday.
The ceremony will be followed by another huge wedding party for the couple in New York City next Wednesday, and they will temporarily stay in the city, where Kim will film her reality TV series, Kourtney and Kim Take New York.
Kim has denied next week's party is a second wedding service, however, tweeting: "There are rumors of a 2nd wedding in NY. This is NOT true!! Our friends Jason Binn & Colin Cowie are throwing us a welcome to NY party (sic)!"
Although they are only having a short break in Italy, Kim said she and basketball player Kris are planning to have a proper honeymoon, but they won't be able to go until next year, because of their hectic work schedules.
Meanwhile, guests and friends have continued to wish the couple well following their nuptials.
Singer-and-actress Demi Lovato, who was at the wedding, tweeted: "So happy 4 my big sis @KimKardashian who is now MARRIED @krishumphries u better take care of her! had a blast @the wedding. (sic)"
Supermodel Heidi Klum couldn't make the ceremony, but tweeted: "Sending my congratulations to @KimKardashian & Kris from India (sic)."
As we previously reported, Hollywood was out in full force for the affair: Eva Longoria, Mario Lopez, Ryan Seacrest and Julianne Hough, George Lopez, Sugar Ray Leonard, Lindsay Lohan with mom Dina, and Ciara were all there, dressed in black or white per Kim's instructions.
Kim went through three Vera Wang gowns during the night, each very different but equally beautiful.
Robin Thicke sang his hit Angels for Mr. and Mrs. Humphries' first dance, and followed up with Let's Stay Together, reports E!. Earth, Wind and Fire then took over the stage, followed by a DJ who kept the party going until close to midnight.
The wedding and reception were taped for a two-part E! special airing in October; Keeping Up With the Kardashians airs Sundays at 10/9c on E!
