Lindsay Lohan has helped raise money for victims of the Japanese earthquake and tsunami that happened earlier this year, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
Lohan signed posters by Danish artist, Poul Pava which were auctioned off and brought in $5,000 to benefit Save The Children Japanese Earthquake And Tsunami Fund.
Save the Children has been working in Japan for a quarter of a century. In the immediate aftermath of the disaster, the aid agency deployed emergency response teams to assess the needs of children and their families.
Pava told RadarOnline.com: "I'm truly honored that Lindsay took the time to participate in this charity project and raise awareness to this important cause, it was such a great gesture of Lindsay to help, especially considering how much she has going on in her own life!"
Danish promoter and a business associate of Lohan's, Claus Hjelmbak said: "Given the amount of money Lindsay Lohan’s signed posters brought in, it comes to show she is hugely popular in Europe!
I cant wait to see her on the big screen again and hopefully get the chance to have her visit Denmark in the near future! So many companies wants to work with her, she is definitely in demand!
