Trial Date Set For Tobey Maguire Poker Scandal

A trial date has been set for Spiderman star, Tobey Maguire, for his involvement in the Hollywood poker scandal, which allegedly jilted investors of a hedge fund, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.
Maguire is being sued for over $300k in earnings he made from the high stakes poker games, arranged by Bradley Ruderman, who is currently behind bars in Texas after the feds uncovered that his hedge fund was an elaborate Ponzi scheme.

Howard Ehrenberg, the court appointed trustee for the investors of the defunct hedge fund, is attempting to recoup money for the the group. Maguire has filed a response to the lawsuit, in which he says he shouldn't have to fork over the money, because the games were legal.
In legal docs obtained by RadarOnline.com, a trial date has been set for Maguire for the week of January 30th, 2012, and the discovery cut-off date is November 30, 2011.
