The Australian actress appeared to be struggling to keep a hold of her youngest daughter, Faith, as she carried her awkwardly on one arm.

But comfy or not, the happy family, completed by Kidman's husband Keith Urban, were all smiles as they touched down in California after a long flight from their native  Australia.

They will officially celebrate Sunday's third birthday on July 7, although as RadarOnline.com previously reported the little girl has already had one, early birthday party.
