Planning a royal wedding could get a little overwhelming but Kate Middleton indulged in a little retail therapy before her big day.
The 29-year-old Princess-to-be went shopping in London’s trendy Kings Road neighborhood on Wednesday and bought a few things from the store Whistles, where dresses usually sell for between $160 to $330.
Wearing a blue wrap dress, a slimmed-down and toned Kate smiled as she left the store with just one bodyguard, and flashed her sapphire and diamond engagement ring.
The happy couple will tie the knot in the historic Westminster Abbey on Friday, April 29 in front of 1900 guests. Kate and her future brother-in-law Harry rehearsed at the church last week along with her maid-of-honor sister Pippa Middleton.
Kate is expected to wear a dress by Sophie Cranston of the Libélula label when she weds Prince William and will have six hairdressers on hand to tend to her brunettes lock for the big day.

Queen Elizabeth II, who turns 85 tomorrow, hosted Kate’s parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, at a private lunch at Windsor Castle, Buckingham Palace said Wednesday. William’s grandfather Prince Phillip and other members of the royal household were also in attendance.
