With the clock ticking on the wedding of the (early) century, the church is getting a sprucing up.
The royal wedding is 11 days away and Westminster Abbey, the historic cathedral where Prince William will marry Kate Middleton is being preparing for the big day.
With “only” 1,900 seats, the invitation to the ceremony is the hottest ticket in town. But for those with less-than-royal connections, stands are being set up outside the church where fans can watch Kate arrive with her father for a wingding that could be watched by a billion people.
Prince Harry joined his sister-in-law-to-be at Westminster Abbey last week for a rehearsal, and it seems like all the plans are coming together. Kate’s dress is reportedly being designed by Sophie Cranston of the Libélula label, and the bride’s even going to have six hairdressers on hand April 29 to tend to her brunette locks.
