The Trump Organization, the organization owned and managed by Donald Trump, has reserved the internet domain name, has exclusively learned.

The move is bound to fuel more speculation that Trump, 64, will contest the Republican presidential nomination for the 2012 election which opinion polls show he is currently sitting comfortably in second place, on the heels of the Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, in the latest Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll.

According to records seen by, was set up on December 16, 2004.

The administrative and technical contact for the domain is listed as Trump's legal counsel.

The move to register the online identity seven years ago is likely to dispel skeptics claims the billionaire is using a possible tilt at the White House to draw viewers to Celebrity Apprentice, the NBC reality program he co-produces and hosts.

Trump has said he will decide on a 2012 presidential run before June.
