VIDEO: Annette Funicello Taken To Hospital After House Catches Fire

Disney's most beloved Mouseketeer -- Annette Funicello -- was taken to a San Fernando Valley hospital as a precaution Thursday morning after fire swept through her home in Encino, California, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Los Angeles firefighters responded to a large, single family house fire, according to Los Angeles Fox TV station KTTV. The house was badly damaged, as huge holes in the roof could be seen from an overhead helicopter. KTTV reported that people were seen removing Funicello's mementos from the home.

The 68-year-old Funicello -- who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1987 -- is famous for her run on the Mickey Mouse Club in the late 50s, as well as her appearance in a number of beach-themed films from the 60s such as Beach Party, Muscle Beach Party, Bikini Beach, Beach Blanket Bingo, How to Stuff a Wild Bikini and Pajama Party.
