The man accused of kidnapping actor Jeremy London pled guilty to reduced charges in court on Wednesday and was released from jail RadarOnline.com has confirmed.
In an Indio, California court Brandon Adams, 27, pled guilty to the reduced charge of misdemeanor vehicle theft and felony false imprisonment in connection with the June 2010 incident involving Jeremy London.
RadarOnline.com broke the exclusive story that London, 33, had been kidnapped at gun point, but multiple people, including his then-wife claimed that the actor was using drugs and exaggerated his story.
The Riverside County District attorney’s office dismissed the following charges: kidnap for robbery, robbery and receiving stolen property.
Adams has been in jail since his arrest in June, and was sentenced to 1 year and 4 months in state prison, but he was released Wednesday after having already served 510 days and is now on parole.
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, London claimed that he was held at gunpoint by two men, forced to do drugs and ordered to buy them alcohol.
He claimed that another man, not Brandon Adams, held a gun to his side as he went into a market to purchase alcohol three times.
Adams had claimed that London went on joyride with the men, but his twin brother and other family members have publicly doubted his story.
